Jackie O'Quin

Funeral services were held Monday, May 27, 2013 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Jackie O’Quin, age 63, of Carson, MS who passed away on May 24 at Marion General Hospital in Columbia, MS. Interment followed at Greens Creek Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. James Carney officiated. Pall bearers were Keith Davis, Keith Davis Jr., Brian Bates, Mitchell Smith, Kirk Raynes and Kenny Lawrence. Honorary pall bearer was Glenn Noto. A native of Mississippi, Jackie Lee O’Quin was born on March 21, 1950. He was the son of Elvis O’Quin and Addie Mae Raynes O’Quin. He worked for Smith Heating and Air Conditioning. He was a member of Assembly of God in Canton, MS. Mr. O’Quin is survived by his wife, Peggy O’Quin of Carson, MS; his sons, Bobby O’Quin of Hattiesburg, MS and Kevin O’Quin of Carson, MS; four grandchildren, Brianna, Ashlan, Desiree and Austin O’Quin; his brothers, Malcolm O’Quin and Roger Dale O’Quin both of Carson, MS and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
