Funeral services were held Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Joyce King, age 75, of Prentiss, MS who passed away on May 13, 2013 at JDC Hospital in Prentiss. Interment followed at Dublin Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. L. C. Anthony and Rev. Robert Cooper officiated. Pall bearers were Brad Hudson, Mark Dyess, Jason Hudson, Christopher Hudson, Larry Howard, and Phil Howard. Honorary pall bearer was Alex King. Mrs. Joyce Mae King was born on May 2, 1938 in Louisiana. She was the daughter of John Henry Dyess and Delia Martin Dyess. She was a homemaker and a member of Dublin Baptist Church. Mrs. King is survived by her son, Mike King of Prentiss, MS; her daughter, Michelle Holifield of Laurel, MS; four grandchildren; her brother, Shelton Dyess of Bogalusa, LA; her sisters, Bertha Bass of Prentiss, MS and Betty Hudson of Collins, MS.
