David Bishop

A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery for Mr. David Bishop, age 55, of Mt. Olive, MS, who passed away on March 6, 2013 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. Rev. John David Kittrell officiated. Pall bearer was his son, Jeff Bishop. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Mr. Thomas David Bishop was born on May 17, 1957 in Magee, MS. He was the son of Gayle Thomas Bishop and Gretna Jones Bishop. He worked as the Quality Assurance Supervisor at Boswell Regional Center for 22 years. He was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Bishop is survived by his wife, Judy Sasser Bishop of Mt. Olive; his daughters, Kathy Bishop of Mize, MS and Jackie Melissa Carley of Hattiesburg, MS; his son, Jeff Bishop of Taylorsville, MS; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; his parents, Gayle Thomas Bishop of Magee, MS and Gretna Bishop of Mt. Olive, MS; his brothers, Greg Bishop of Mt. Olive, MS and Hamilton Bishop of Vicksburg, MS. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, James Ramsey Bishop.
