Preston Anthony Gatwood

Funeral services were held Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Cornerstone Church in Collins, MS for Master Preston Anthony Gatwood, age 3, who passed away January 10, 2012 at JDC Hospital in Prentiss, MS. Interment followed at New Chapel Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Teddy Cranford and Rev. Roy Craft officiated. Pall bearers were Aaron Graves, John Saulters, Caleb Graves and Ray Miller. Preston Anthony Gatwood was born on February 15, 2009 in Hattiesburg, MS. He was the son of Tim Gatwood and J. I. Lowery Gatwood. Preston enjoyed fishing and playing with his brothers, Dylan and Gatlin. Preston is survived by his parents, Tim and J. I. Gatwood of Prentiss; his brothers, Dylan Gatwood of Collins and Gatlin Gatwood of Prentiss; paternal grandparents, Guy and Kathy Gatwood of Prentiss; his maternal grandparents, Randall and Melissa Lowery of Seminary; his paternal great-grandmother, Ann Davis of Sumrall; his maternal great-grandfather Sammie McLain (Betty) of Purvis; his maternal great-grandmother Myrtle Pace of Collins; his paternal great- great-grandmother Kathrine Gatwood of Prentiss; and his maternal great-great- grandparents, Rayford and Johnnie Lowery of Seminary, MS.
