Jamie P. Moore

Funeral services were held Monday, December 24, 2012, at Phalti Baptist Church for Mrs. Jamie Moore, age 86, of Hattiesburg, MS who passed away December 21, 2012 at her residence. Interment followed in Phalti Cemetery. Saulters-Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss handled arrangements. Bro. Rick Steen officiated. Pallbearers were: Tony Parish, Randal Parish, Jim Polk, Aaron Moore, Brad Floyd, and Jay Glausier. Mrs. Jamie Ramsey Polk Moore was born January 15,1926 in Jefferson Davis County, MS. She was the daughter of James Eli Polk and Margie Ramsey Polk. She graduated from MSCW and was a public school teacher in Texas. She attended the First Presbyterian Church in Hattiesburg. She was the widow of Warren Moore. Mrs. Moore is survived by one son: Terry Moore of Prentiss, MS; one daughter: Rebecca Carr of Pasco, Washington; one sister, Elise Parish of Alvin, Texas; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
