June Chance

Funeral services were held Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. June Chance, age 81, of Prentiss, MS who passed away December 10, 2012 at her residence in Prentiss. Interment followed at Brady Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Bro. Billy Bridges, Bro. Charles Burnham, and Bro. L.C. Anthony officiated. Also speaking were Casey Chance and Connie Lindsey. Pallbearers were her grandsons: Derek Santiny, Deron Santiny, Jarrod Santiny, Glen Chance Jr., Tommy Bridges, Chad Bridges, Eric Pounds, Dustin Pounds and Casey Chance. Honorary Pallbearer was Dirk Aycock. June Juanita Chance was born in Alabama On June 3, 1931. She was the daughter of Grady and Alberta McDaniel Williamson. She worked as a Caregiver for many years and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Mrs. Chance is survived by Three daughters: Glenda Santiny (Russel) of Grand Isle, LA, Patty Bridges (Gary) of Prentiss, MS, Wanda Pounds (Danny) of Houston, MS; Three sons: Glenn Chance (Peggy) of Gonzales, LA, “Don” William Chance (Anna), and Dale Lamar Chance (Trudy) both of Cutoff, LA; One sister: Lucille Tindle of Alabama; One brother: Paul Williamson of Virginia; 20 grandchildren and 25 Great-Grandchildren.
