Annelle Wood White

Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Annelle Wood White, age 65, of Byram, MS who passed away December 9, 2012 at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg, MS. Interment followed at Brady Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Dr. Billy Thomas officiated. Pall bearers were Alton “Bubba” Allday, Jeffrey Polk, Scott Polk, Bandy Grace, Wayne Hathorn and Chris Hathorn. A native of Silver Creek, Rachel Annelle Wood White was born on October 1, 1947. She was the daughter of Albert Prentiss Wood and Nelda Speights Wood. She worked as a secretary for several years and was a receptionist for Kansas City Hospice. She was a member of Lee’s Summit Baptist Temple in Lee’s Summit, MO. Mrs. White is survived by her husband, Charles “Chuck” White, Sr. of Byram, MS; her son, Charles “Sonny” White, Jr. (Candre) of Campti, LA; her daughter, Precia Pedersen (Tony) of Petal, MS; nine grandchildren; her mother, Nelda Wood of Monroe, LA; her brother, Albert Wood of Farmerville, LA; and her sister, April Coy of Columbia, LA. She was preceded in death by her father, and her paternal grandparents, Rev. Henry & Ora Wood, and her maternal grandparents, Boyd & Mae Speights.
