Katherine L. Griffith

Funeral services were held Friday, December 07, 2012 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Katherine Griffith, age 76, of Prentiss, MS who passed away December 5, 2012 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Interment followed at Whitesand Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Charles Burnham officiated. Pall bearers were Chad Lee, David Lee, Jimmy Slater, Danny Mullins, Porky Stephens and Alton Herrington. Katherine Louise Griffith was born on December 15, 1935 in the Clem community of Jefferson Davis County. She was the daughter of Bernice Roberts and Annie Rennels Roberts. She worked in various positions in the Oilfield Industry for many years. Katherine enjoyed going out to eat, shopping and visiting with her friends. She was a member of Whitesand Baptist Church. Mrs. Griffith is survived by her brother, Bernice Roberts Jr. of Brandon, MS; her sisters, Dot Hawkins of Vicksburg, MS, Doris Hawkins of Grand Bay, AL, Peggy Cosper of Laurel, MS and Brenda Cornstock of Baytown, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wyatte Magee Griffith and her son, Robert Magee Griffith.
