Tyler Smith

Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Tyler Smith, age 18, of Carson, MS who passed away December 1 at his residence. Interment followed at Greens Creek Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Bob Perrett officiated. Pall bearers were Ronson Prine, Mike Peavey, Nathaniel Sistrunk, Daniel Lee, Zach Hitt, Lee Stringer, Tanner Williams and Brandon Temple. Honorary pall bearers were Cody Nelson and the West Marion High School Class of 2012. Mr. William Tyler Smith was born in Hattiesburg, MS on February 28, 1994. He was the son of Terrell Smith and Lynn Kirkley Myers. He attended Bassfield Jr. High School in Bassfield before transferring to West Marion Schools. He graduated with honors from West Marion High School in May 2012. Tyler had received a full scholarship to attend Pearl River Community College. He also attended Ebeneezer Baptist Church. Mr. Smith is survived by his father, Terrell Smith of Carson, MS; his mother Lynn Myers (Reggie) of Prentiss, MS; his brother, Joe Daley (Hayley) of Sumrall, MS; his sister, Misty Watkins (Henry) of Prentiss, MS; his nephews Wade Watkins and Dalton Daley; his niece, Cammi Graves; his paternal grandparents, Marvin & Donnis Faye Smith of Carson, MS; and his maternal grandfather, Ray Kirkley of Carson, MS.
