Doyle H. McRaney

Funeral services were held Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Doyle McRaney, age 85, of Prentiss, MS who passed away November 8 at his residence. Interment followed at King Family Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss is in charge of all arrangements. Dr. French Tripp officiated. Pall bearers were Sammy McKinstry, James Speck, Joel McRaney, Mitch McRaney, Tommy Gatwood, David Sanford, Greg McRaney, Joe Smith, Jason Harvey and Seth Bullock. A native of Jefferson Davis County, Doyle Herbert McRaney was born on April 5, 1927. He was the son of Herbert L. McRaney and Lois King McRaney. He worked as an Auto Mechanic for many years in the surrounding areas including Bassfield, Prentiss, Collins and Columbia. He was a member of Prentiss Presbyterian Church. Mr. McRaney is survived by his daughter, Lynn Chapman of Cheyenne, WY; a grandson, Bradley Chapman of Cheyenne, WY and numerous nieces and nephews.
