Eloise "Weezie" Lane

Funeral services were held Monday, September 10, 2012 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Elouise “Weezie” Lane, age 76, of Prentiss, MS who passed away on September 8, 2012 at her residence in Prentiss. Interment followed at the Prentiss Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Ben James officiated. Pall bearers were Grant Kelly, Sam Kelly, Todd Martin, T. C. Cooley, Scott Griffith and Richard Griffith. Mrs. Elouise “Weezie” Lane was born on May 19, 1936 in Stringer, MS. She was the daughter of Rufus Elijah Clark and Lillian Reeves Clark. She worked as a cashier with Sunflower and Ramey’s Grocery Stores in Prentiss for more than twenty years. Mrs. Lane is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Turner of Vancleave, MS; two sisters, Bonnie Maddox of Puckett, MS and Gladys Kelly of Stringer, MS; one grandchild and two great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
