Agnes H. Harvey

Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Carson Baptist Church in Carson, MS for Mrs. Agnes H. Harvey, age 87, of Prentiss, MS who passed away August 5, 2012 at JDCH Extended Care Facility in Prentiss, MS. Interment followed at Carson Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Charles Lee Loftin and Bro. Lyn Holloway officiated. Pall bearers were Chuck Pruitt, Teddy Daley, Jimmy Daley, Zack Daley, Joseph Harvey, Douglas Calhoun and Cory Calhoun. Agnes Loretta Harvey was born in Lawrence County on October 14, 1924. She was the daughter of William Hamilton Hall and Mae Jones Hall. She worked as a seamstress with Edward Hyman Manufacturing for many years. She attended Carson Baptist Church for a number of years and New Chapel Pentecostal Church. Mrs. Harvey is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Pruitt (Charles) and Linda Overstreet (Wiley) all of Prentiss, MS; her sons, Michael Harvey of Byram, MS and Danny Harvey of Prentiss, MS; nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; her brothers, W. H. Hall Jr. (Ruth) of Clinton, MS and Robert Hall (Cammie) of Moss Point, MS; and her sister, Zelda Carlisle (Buddy) of Ridgeland, MS.
