Mildred Graves

Funeral services were held Monday, July 2, 2012 at Santee Baptist Church in Bassfield for Mrs. Mildred “Millie” Graves, age 64, of Sumrall, MS who passed away June 29, 2012 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. Interment followed at Santee Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Tony Bagley officiated. Pall bearers were David Jackson, Dean Jackson, Eddie Joe Jackson, Joe Jackson, Nathan Jackson, Paul Jackson, Stevie Jackson and Tom Jackson Mrs. Mildred “Millie” Louise Graves was born in Jefferson Davis County on December 27, 1947. She was the daughter of Robert Jackson and Mary Lee Deen Jackson. She worked as a seamstress for many years in the garment industry. She was a member of Santee Baptist Church. Mrs. Graves is survived by her daughter, Mary Graves Rojas of Sumrall, MS; her grandchildren, Jay Graves and Jaxon Skinner: and her sister, Margaret Bounds of Sumrall, MS.
