Evalea Lott Stringer

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Evalea Lott Stringer, age 89, of Carson, MS who passed away on June 19 at her residence. Interment followed at Hathorn Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Valton Douglas officiated. Pallbearers were Wayne Stringer, Ray Stringer, Keith Stringer, Quinn Bullock, Jon Crosby and Roy Stringer. Mrs. Evalea Lott Stringer was born on November 8, 1922 in Lamar County. She was the daughter of Luther Lott and Annie Robertson Lott. She worked with Pioneer as a seamstress for thirty five years. She was also a member of Greens Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Lott is survived by her two sons, Robert Ray Stringer of Carson, Rev. Terrell Stringer of Petal; her three daughters, Shirley Ingram of Carthage, Bessie Crosby of Franklin, TN and Faye Stringer of Sumrall; eighteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; her sisters, Ivell Lott of Bogalusa, LA and Ouida Stewart of Oregon.
