Annie Laura Blackburn

Funeral services were held Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Annie Laura Blackburn, age 90, of Prentiss, MS who passed away April 19, 2012 at the JDC Extended Care Facility in Prentiss, MS. Interment followed at Lonestar Cemetery in Collins, MS. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Dr. French Tripp officiated. Pall bearers were Allen Blackburn, William Blackburn, Cody Blackburn, John Jones, Jeffrey Stephens, Allen Moree, Ashley Stuart, Joe Riles, Stephen Jones and Colton Jones. A native of Covington County, MS, Annie Laura Blackburn was born on November 12, 1921. She was the daughter of Leon McRaney and Allie Mae McRaney. She was a homemaker and a member of Prentiss Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Blackburn is survived by her daughters, Patricia Bridges of Prentiss, Margaret Jones and Emily Stephens both of Sumrall, MS; her son, Charles Blackburn of Collins, MS; eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; her two sisters, Nannie Lee Thetford of Prentiss and Margie Booth of Keystone Heights, FL.
