Hilma Jane Dyess

Funeral services were held Monday, March 12, 2012 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Jane Dyess, age 69, of Carson, MS who passed away March 9, 2012 at her residence. Interment followed at Crossroads Baptist Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Jan Matheny and Rev. Bob Burge officiated. Pall bearers were Jerry Lee Raynes, Alvin Raynes, Mark Raynes, Randolph Raynes, Dan Stogner and Brett Herring. Mrs. Hilma Jane Dyess was born on May 7, 1942 in Prentiss, MS. She was the daughter of Howard Aultman and Lillian Dyess Aultman. She was a beautician and the owner/operator of Jane’s Beauty Salon. Jane always had an open heart, an open door and an empty chair at her table. She loved to fish, cook and plant flowers. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. Mrs. Dyess is survived by her daughters, Jackie Dillon (Ken) and Angie Dyess all of Carson, MS; her grandchildren, Constance Bass, Jake & Katie Dillon, Carley Dillon; her brother, Charles Aultman (Edna) of Crestview, FL; and her sisters, Margaret Hambright of Vicksburg, MS, Virginia Haddox of New Hebron, MS, Linda Herring (Phillip) of Prentiss, MS and Debbie Woods of San Jose, CA.
