Larry W. Holloway

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Larry W. Holloway, age 66, of Houston, TX who passed away March 4, 2012 at Odyssey Hospice in Houston, TX. Interment followed at Prentiss Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Allen Winstead of Brandon, MS officiated. Pall bearers were Marvin Smith, Wayne Daley, Dek Terrell, James Terrell, Fred Herrod, Gary Jackson and Hollis McCray Jr. Mr. Larry Walter Holloway was born February 11, 1946 in Carson, MS. The youngest of four children, he was the son of Earl Holloway and Mary Gay Douglas Holloway. He was a graduate of Bassfield High School and Pearl River College. In 1966, he moved to Houston, TX and worked at several engineering firms with the latest being Mustang Engineering. His favorite hobbies were playing golf and spending time with his two grandchildren. Mr. Holloway is survived by his wife of 46 years, Kathy Holloway; his two sons, Al Holloway and Sean Holloway (Marcia); his daughter, Kimberly Ovelgonne (Tony) and grandson Anthony and granddaughter, Kassidy all of Houston, TX; his twin brother, Harry Holloway (Brenda) of Spanish Fort, AL and several nieces and nephews.
