Funeral services were held Monday, March 05, 2012 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Rolan M. Smith, age 46, of Carson, MS who passed away March 2, 2012 at his residence. Interment followed at Greens Creek Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Charles L. Loftin officiated. Pall bearers were Terry Dyess, Mike Dyess, Greg Dyess, Frank Floyd, James Tiller, Huey Hitt and Brandon Dyess. Mr. Rolan Max Smith was born on April 23, 1965 in Jefferson Davis County, MS. He was the son of Arvin D. Smith and Maxine Dyess Smith. He worked as a truck driver with Superior Well Service and had worked in the Oilfield. Mr. Smith is survived by his daughter, Kayla Smith of Sontag, MS and his brothers, Ricky Smith of Vancleave, MS and Rocky Smith of Moss Point, MS.
