Maxine D. Smith

Funeral services were held Monday, March 5, 2012 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Maxine D. Smith, age 74, of Carson, MS who passed away March 2, 2012 at her residence. Interment followed at Greens Creek Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Charles L. Loftin officiated. Pall bearers were Terry Dyess, Mike Dyess, Greg Dyess, Frank Floyd, James Tiller, Huey Hitt and Brandon Dyess. Mrs. Maxine Dyess Smith was born May 19, 1937 in Carson, MS. She was the daughter of Mack Dyess and Mary Reid Dyess. She was a homemaker and a member of Greens Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Smith is survived by her sons, Ricky Smith of Vancleave, MS and Rocky Smith of Moss Point, MS; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and her sister, Emma Jean Smith of Carson, MS.
