Steve R. Bridges

Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Steve Bridges, age 55, of New Hebron, MS who passed away February 18, 2012 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. Interment followed at Whitesand Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Charles Burnham and Rev. Billy Bridges officiated. Pall bearers were Jay McBrain, Todd Stuckey, Joey Riley, Steven Jones, Chris Smith and Hosey Bridges. Honorary pall bearers were T. Weber Shivers, Joe Riley, Eddie Rogers, Glenn Griffith, Zane Clark and Jody Stuckey. Mr. Steven Randall Bridges was born May 29, 1956 in Colorado. He was the son of H. B. Bridges and Gladys Higdon Bridges Shoemaker. He worked with several Offshore Drilling Companies as a Motorman before retiring after twenty years. He was a member of Whitesand Baptist Church. Mr. Bridges is survived by his wife, Lynn Gray Bridges of New Hebron, MS; his daughters, Patricia Lee (Josh) of Mendenhall, MS and Hope Bridges of New Hebron, MS; his son, Bare Bridges (Heather) of New Hebron, MS; four grandchildren, Lacala & Cheyenne Bridges and Jamie & Kasey Lee; and two sisters, Linda Green (Danny) of New Hebron, MS and Gena McBrain (Bill) of Clinton, MS.
