Oneida Myers

Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel, for Mrs. Oneida Myers, age 92, of Sumrall, MS, who passed away on Monday, January 23, 2012 at Magnolia Place PCH in Sumrall. Interment followed at Carson Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. John Barnes, III and Rev. Benji Sessums officiated. Pall bearers were Mike Bridges, Brad Bridges, Joseph Bridges, Richard Lee, Ken Lee and Drew Hartzog. Mrs. Clerinda Oneida Myers was born in Jefferson Davis County, on March 28, 1919. She was the daughter of Samuel McPhail and Barbara Garner McPhail. She was married the late Zane Myers for many years. Mrs. Myers worked as a secretary for several county office holders. She was a member of Carson Baptist Church. Mrs. Myers is survived by her daughters, Shannon Lee (John), Judy Bridges (Leslie) and Susan Chambliss all of Prentiss, MS; six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
