Lottie Mae Armstrong

Funeral Services were held Monday, December 12, 2011 at Saulters-Moore Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Lottie Mae Armstrong, age 90, of Prentiss, MS who died Friday, December 9, 2011 at The Extended Care Facility in Prentiss. Interment followed in Old Silver Creek Cemetery. Rev. Eddie Myers and Rev. Richard Green officiated. Pallbearers were Seth Sanders, Taylor Sanders, Lance Purvis, Micah Fortenberry, Jeffery Letchworth, and Monty Sanders. Lottie Mae Armstrong was born July 16, 1921. She was the daughter of William Terrell Letchworth and Maude Hammond Letchworth and the widow of Marvin Armstrong. Mrs. Armstrong worked at Kellwood Mfg. Company for many years, and then worked for the post office in Oakvale, MS until she retired. She was a member of Old Silver Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by one brother, L.T. Letchworth of Oakvale, MS; one sister, Mamie Ward of Silver Creek, MS, and a number of nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, two brothers and one sister.
