Funeral services were held Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Pauline F. Mullins, age 80, of Collins, MS who passed away November 14, 2011. Interment followed at Whitesand Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Gary Knight officiated. Pall bearers were John Harrison, Jeff Ford, Jim Ford, Joe Gilbert, Kyle Rayborn and Anthony Ellis. Pauline F. Mullins was born July 24, 1931 in Covington County, MS. She was the daughter of James Ford and Elizabeth Mauldin Ford. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Pearl, MS. Mrs. Pauline Mullins was nothing less than an extraordinary woman. She lived her life to serve the Lord and other people. She was a hardworking person who would do anything to help others. Pauline never met a stranger and never had an ill word to say about anyone. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. Everyone that met her was blessed by her kind heart and giving nature. God sent one of his angels the day she was born, because Pauline Mullins was truly an angel among us. Mrs. Mullins is survived by her daughter, Darnell Adams of Florence, MS; her son, George Mullins of Florence, MS; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren; her brother, W. C. Ford of Collins, MS and her sister, Helen Grissom of Taylorsville, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lucius Mullins, three brothers and a sister.
