Virginia Burrow

Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Virginia Burrow, age 76, of Prentiss, MS who passed away on August 28, 2011 at Jefferson Davis Community Hospital in Prentiss, MS. Interment followed at Tyrone Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. L. C. Anthony officiated. Pall bearers were Chris Cook, Chris Morris, Brian Blocker, Rod Burrow, Glen Burrow and Kevin Armstrong. Virginia Ann Burrow was born on January 7, 1935 in Kentucky. She was the daughter of Henry Cullen Thomas and Elizabeth Bridges Thomas. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, John Burrow and Sam Burrow both of Prentiss, MS; a daughter, Janet Mattern of Herndon, VA; six grandchildren and two great-grandchilden; a brother, Howard Thomas of Kuttowa, KY; two sisters, Carolyn Sue Armstrong of Cerulean, KY and Donna Blaine of Hopkinsville, KY; her sister in law, Katie B. Alliston of West Lafayette, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lindy Earl Burrow, a daughter, a grandson and a sister.
