Mae Burrow

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Bethany Baptist Church in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Mae Burrow, age 84, of Prentiss, MS who passed away July 17, 2011 at JDCH Extended Care Facility in Prentiss, MS. Interment followed at Tyrone Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Tommy Broom officiated. Pall bearers were Les Dungan, Payton Dungan, Billy Bridges, Tyler Burrow, David Miller and Zach Polk. Ida Mae Knotts Burrow was born in Louisiana on April 2, 1927. She was the daughter of Oscar Knotts and Ida Vail Knotts. She had worked as a sales clerk for several stores in Prentiss. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Mrs. Burrow is survived by a daughter, Martha Smith of Prentiss, MS; two sons, Rod Burrow of Petal, MS and Jeff Burrow of Fort Sill, OK; six grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Spurgeon Burrow, six brothers and two sisters.
