Betty Lou Jones

Funeral services were held Thursday, July 7, 2011 for Mrs. Betty Jones, age 70, of Hattiesburg, MS and formerly of Prentiss, MS who passed away July 4, 2011 at Forrest General Hospital. Interment followed at Dublin Cemetery. Saulters-Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss is in charge of arrangements. Rev. Robert Cooper and Rev. L. C. Anthony officiated. Pall bearers were Will Jones, Perry Jones, Stan Jones, Cody Jones, Norbert Barrett and Stephen Pittman. Betty Lou Jones was born January 1, 1941 in Brookhaven, MS. She was the daughter of Brock Evans and Ada Case Evans. She was a homemaker and a member of Dublin Baptist Church. Mrs. Jones is survived by one daughter, Misty Jones Barrett of Purvis, MS; three sons, Will Jones of Brandon, MS, Perry Jones and Stan Jones, both of Prentiss; two sisters, Sharon Calhoun and Nancy Sutton both of Brookhaven; one brother, David Evans of Brookhaven, MS; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Marcelle Jones.
