Ethel Marie Coulter

Memorial services were held Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Ethel Marie Coulter, age 85, who passed away June 29, 2011 at Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, MS. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Ethel Marie Coulter was born March 23, 1926 in Prentiss, MS. Mrs. Coulter worked as a seamstress at the Edward Hyman factory and as a retail clerk with Bill’s Dollar Store. She enjoyed gardening and quilt making. In her later years, she enjoyed winning at bingo, reading and watching the news and visiting with friends in the retirement home. She was a lifelong member of Hepzibah Baptist Church. Mrs. Coulter is survived by a daughter, Evelyn Cathey and her husband, Sonny; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Cathey and husband, Sean, and Kim Calcote and husband, Preston, and six great grandchildren—Ryan, Rachel and Ross Calcote and Lauren, Lindsay and Lanie Heffker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon E. Coulter and two sisters, Nancy Bourne Coulter and Mildred Glyne.
