Mary Nell Chance

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Mary Nell Chance, age 82, who passed away June 28, 2011 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Ben James officiated. Pall bearers were Ricky Myers, Clyde Maitreme, Jim Parkman, Shawn Daughdrill, Zach Daughdrill and Curtis Cranford. Mary Nell Chance was born on July 31, 1928 in Jefferson Davis County, MS. She was the daughter of William Jackie Bourne and Sarah Bourne. She worked as a supervisor with Bell South and AT&T in New Orleans, LA for thirty years before retiring. She was a member of Prentiss Baptist Church and the WMU. Mrs. Chance is survived by her daughter, Sara Solideo of Prentiss, MS; granddaughter, Susan Caves (Brent) of Prentiss, MS; two great grandchildren, Miranda Solideo and Ricky Myers; two brothers, Percy Edsel Bourne of Marrero, LA and Robert Glen Bourne of Tempe, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother.
