William "Billy" Owens, Jr.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 28, 2011 at New Hebron Pentecostal Church in New Hebron, MS for Mr. William “Billy” Owens, age 60, who passed away June 26, 2011 at JDCH Extended Care Facility in Prentiss, MS. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Steven Andrus and Bro. Danny Robbins officiated. Pall bearers were Randy Horan, Ray Hall, Joe Sutton, Kevin Nobles, Darren Sherman and Terry Teddlie. Honorary pall bearer was Andrew Morrow. William “Billy” Owens Jr. was born on September 6, 1950 in Simpson County, MS. He was the son of William Owens Sr. and Bonnie Higgs Owens. He was a Brick Layer for many years and was of the Pentecostal faith. Mr. Owens is survived by his daughter, Sandy Morrow of Pinola, MS; one granddaughter; his mother, Bonnie Owens of Shivers, MS; two brothers, Rev. George Owens and Jeff Owens both of New Hebron, MS and special friend, Cynthia Harrison of Prentiss, MS. He was preceded in death by his father and two sons.
