Lafairy Mooney

Graveside services were held Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Oakvale Cemetery in Mt. Olive, MS for Ms. Lafairy Mooney, age 82, who passed away June 26, 2011 at Jefferson Davis Community Hospital in Prentiss, MS. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Tommy Broom officiated. Pall bearers were Larry Don Spears, Korky Kerley, David Miller, Philip Herring, Dwight Chance and Matthew Miller. A native of Mississippi, Lafairy Mooney was born on March 28, 1929. She was the daughter of Winston Mooney and Grace Magee Mooney. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Ms. Mooney is survived by her many friends and acquaintances.
