Patsy Turnage

Funeral services were held Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Oakvale Baptist Church for Mrs. Patsy Turnage, age 69, of Oakvale, MS, who passed away June 9, 2011 at her residence. Interment followed in Oakvale Cemetery. Saulters-Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of arrangements. Rev. Wade Barnes, Rev. Randy Gardner and Rev. Dudley Williamson officiated. Pallbearers were Patrick Turnage, Ryan Turnage, Caleb Hill, Diego Gonzales, Ryan Stewart, Brady Turnage, Dusty Roberts and Steven Smith. Honorary Bearers were Blake Turnage and Trystan Turnage. Patsy Charlene Turnage was born January 1, 1942 in Silver Creek, MS. She was the daughter of Charlie E. Davis and Lessie Herrington Davis. She belonged to the Order of Eastern Star. She was a homemaker and a member of Oakvale Baptist Church. Mrs. Turnage is survived by her husband, Gerald Turnage of Oakvale, MS; two daughters, Tammy Daniels of Silver Creek, MS and Sherry Hill of Oakvale, MS; four sons, Pat Turnage, Bruce Turnage and Jonathan Turnage, all of Oakvale, MS and Chris Turnage of Columbia, MS; nineteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; one brother, Joseph Davis of Silver Creek, MS and a sister, Margrete Adams of Silver Creek, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister and a granddaughter.
