Johnathan S. Allen

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Johnathan S. Allen, age 55, who passed away May 28, 2011 at his residence in Prentiss, MS. Interment followed at Dublin Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Robert Sones officiated. Pall bearers were R. D. Polk, Roland Dyess, Robert Harper, Ronald Jones, Troy Stapleton and Johnny Barrett. Johnathan Scott Allen was born on February 19, 1956 in Tennessee. He was the son of Arnold Allen and Grace Law Allen. He worked for many years with MS Civil Defense as a weatherman and then later as a jailor with Jefferson Davis County. Mr. Allen is survived by an aunt, Hilda Barrett of Carson, MS and friend, Carlotta Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
