Charles Ray Lee

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Saulters Moore Funeral Home in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Charles Ray Lee, age 80, who passed away March 22, 2011 at his residence in New Hebron, MS. Interment followed at Whitesand Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Charles Burnham officiated. Pall bearers were Johnathan Tolbert, Rory Massey, Blake Bourne, Jasper Lee, Larry Lee and Chad Lee. A native of Mississippi, Charles Ray Lee was born on July 13, 1930 in Jefferson Davis County. He was the son of Charlie Lee and Eula Parrott Lee. He served in the US Army and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He worked for Beat 5 in Jefferson Davis County for twenty eight years and later retired from Double Ponds Water Association. He had also worked with Dungan-Rogers Inc. He was a member of Whitesand Baptist Church. Mr. Lee is survived by his wife, Juanita Lee of New Hebron, MS; two sons, William Lee of Pascagoula, MS and Gene Lee of New Hebron, MS; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren and a brother, Carroll Lee, of New Hebron, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother.
