Linda Mae Rouse

Funeral services were held Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Saulters Moore Funeral Home in Prentiss, MS for Ms. Linda Mae Rouse, age 85, who passed away March 9, 2011 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Interment followed at Prentiss Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Ben James officiated. Pall bearers were Rivers Gulledge, David Gulledge, Clint Campbell, David Berry, Johnny Buckley and Brady Buckley. Linda Mae Rouse was born on November 27, 1925 in Prentiss, MS. She was the daughter of Oscar Rouse and Mae Berry Rouse. She was a graduate of Mississippi College. She was a school teacher and taught 1st and 2nd grades in several school systems including, Gulfport, Long Beach, Picayune and Prentiss. She was a school teacher for thirty seven years before retiring. She was a member of the Twentieth Century Club of Prentiss and a member of Prentiss Baptist Church. Ms. Rouse is survived by her niece, Barbara Gulledge of Raymond, MS and a nephew, Johnny Buckley of Prentiss, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
