Julian "Peck" McRaney

Funeral services were held Friday, February 25, 2011 at Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Julian “Peck” McRaney, age 66, of Collins, MS who passed away February 22, 2011 at Hillcrest Nursing Center in Magee, MS. Interment followed at Antioch Cemetery. Rev. Rodney Bankens, Rev. Tony Bagley and Rev. Jerry McRaney officiated. Saulters Moore Funeral Service of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Pall bearers were Brad Allen, James Jinx, Brandon Bernard, Donavon Bernard, Will Daley and Jamie Norris. Julian Dale McRaney better known as “Peck” was born on October 6, 1944 in Covington County, MS. He was the son of John W. McRaney and Wilma McRaney. He was a Truck Driver for many years. He enjoyed music and painting pictures. He was a member of Santee Baptist Church. Mr. McRaney is survived by his wife, Carol McRaney; eleven nieces and nephews; two sisters, Marilyn “Dee” Norris of Bassfield, MS and Karen “Daphne” Allen of Collins, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Nona Gail Barnett.
