Marie Daughdrill

Funeral services were held Monday, December 27, 2010 at Old Hebron Baptist Church in New Hebron for Mrs. Marie Daughdrill, age 82, who passed away December 22, 2010 at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson. Interment followed at Old Hebron Cemetery. Rev. Randy Gardner officiated. Saulters Moore Funeral Service of Prentiss was in charge of arrangements. Pall bearers were Joe Hopstein, Chad Breazeale, Adam Daughdrill, Jim Daughdrill, Shannon Daughdrill and Garrett Daughdrill. Agnes Marie Daughdrill was born on July 2, 1928. A native of Mississippi, she was the daughter of Delmer (Jack) Dickerson and Margarite Brewer Dickerson. She owned the Green Door Florist in Prentiss for several years and was a homemaker. She was a member of Old Hebron Baptist Church. Mrs. Daughdrill is survived by her daughters, Sharon Wofford of Houston, MS, Dianne Hilton and Donna Bellis both of Prentiss, MS, Annette Abney of New Hebron, MS and Jennie Shawash of Silver Creek, MS; sons, Jimmy Daughdrill of Lumberton, MS and Jackie Daughdrill of New Hebron, MS; seventeen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Wayne Dickerson of Savannah, GA and Roland Dickerson of Bridgeport, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother.
