Memorial services will be held at a later date for Mrs. Samielyne Kirkley, age 70, of Carson, MS who passed away June 30, 2012 at Jefferson Davis Community Hospital in Prentiss. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements.

A native of Jefferson Davis County, MS, Samielyne Dyess Kirkley was born on May 15, 1942. She was the daughter of Wilburn Lee Dyess and Hazel Ward Dyess. While living in Slidell, LA for fourteen years, she was active in many civic clubs. After moving back to the Prentiss area, she worked at KLH for fourteen years and retired as a supervisor. She was a member of Dublin Baptist Church.

Mrs. Kirkley is survived by her husband, Ray Kirkley of Carson, MS; her daughters, Gail Robbins of Oakvale, MS, Lynn Myers of Prentiss, MS and Diane Dixon of Carson, MS; nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; her sister, Betty Robbins of Oakvale, MS.
